We first met with Sarah Goldman and Tim Davidheiser at the Berks County Heritage Center for their engagement shoot last month. Both Sarah and Tim were not afraid of being in front of the camera and loved to have fun! We captured some of the realist moments with them and it made us super excited to photograph their wedding day.
We began our day with Sarah at the Homewood Suites in Wyomissing, where she was getting ready with her bridesmaids for the big day. Between all the smiles and laughs, Sarah was beyond eager to see her future husband.
Once her hair was finished, Sarah’s maids of honor helped her get into her stunning wedding gown. We were very fortunate to have had great lighting shining through the window as it allowed us to capture some great contrast photographs!
Although Sarah stole the show, her adorable flower girls came in a close second. These little ones were extremely helpful and just as excited for her big day as she was! We had so much fun working with them and we especially enjoyed watching them have their special moment with Sarah underneath her wedding veil.
Earlier in the day, flowers were delivered to Sarah with a letter from Tim. It was a beautiful moment watching her read the note. We were so thrilled to have had the opportunity to capture that moment. These subtle photos have always been some of our favorite to capture.
After much time spent with Sarah, we left her with her bridesmaids to make their way over to the museum. Once we arrived to the museum we met with Tim and his groomsmen. Tim looked like a whole new man since the last time with a clean shaven face. Tim did say he would clean up well for the wedding day!
The gray tuxedos were a great choice for the men. This color is always one of our favorites.
Sarah finally made her arrival and wanted a brief private moment with Tim before the ceremony. Before walking down the aisle she wanted to hold Tim’s hand, but did not want to see him. Therefore, the two met on opposite sides of the wall and shared a brief moment connected by hands. This was the last moment together before they started the ceremony.
The ceremony began shortly after 5pm. It was a fun, yet brief Jewish ceremony filled with tons of tears and laughs. As they shared their first kiss, guests erupted with joy as the two were finally married!
We were very excited to begin the formal photographs outside the museum because we knew Sarah and Tim were a ton of fun to work with and they did not disappoint. Their love and happiness was apparent throughout and like before made for beautiful images to capture.
After a slight delay, their reception began inside the always fun Neag Planetarium. With their new state of the art projection system, this venue has gone from good to amazing. We always enjoy the beauty and intrigue of a reception at the planetarium.
Once Sarah and Tim entered the room, their guests cheered! This was one of the loudest cheers I’ve heard at a reception in a long time. This was just the start of what was to come throughout the night!
They always say, “Time flies when you’re having fun.” and boy did the night go by in the blink of an eye. The couple did some typical reception games and events, including the formal cake cutting and garter/bouquet tosses. They also participated in the newlywed shoe game, which we have seen at almost every wedding this season!
Another brilliant ring photo showcased their beautiful wedding bands. At each wedding reception, we ask our couples for their bands so that we can capture unique and interesting ring photographs.
At the end of the night, Sarah requested we go outside to do a nighttime photo. On the other side of the red bridge, below a small pink redbud tree and with rain beginning to fall, the two finished their night strong with a wonderful set of images. We couldn’t have had a better wedding day with these two wonderful people. Tim and Sarah were a pure joy to work with, we can’t wait to work more with them in the future!
