The wedding of Masha Tomkus and Will Yost was a wonderful day filled with love and celebration.
The morning started off at the Bally Spring Inn Farmhouse where both the bride and groom were preparing for their big day. In the bridal suite, there was a flurry of activity as Masha and her bridal party were getting their makeup done in their super cute floral robes. Masha was taking everything in strides throughout the morning!
As Masha got into her dress, we were able to capture one of our favorite special moments. Masha’s mother gently buttoning her daughter into her dress.
Once Masha was ready, it was time for her father Joe to come see her for the first time. It was a beautiful moment witnessing Joe’s face as he saw his daughter in her white dress. There was no doubt Masha and her father shared a special relationship.
Down in the mancave, the groom and his groomsmen were having a blast as they got ready, helping each other with cuff links, ties, and keeping the fun spirit. Once everyone was ready, the Groomsmen went outside to use the beauty of the grounds as a background for some great portraits. The guys were all willing to have fun which allowed us to capture some really nice pictures.
We then moved to the ceremony, at the breathtaking Saint Columbkill church. The open concept structure of the church allowed for beautiful natural lighting that we loved! As the ceremony began, it was astounding to see Will escort his mother down the aisle, as this is something very few grooms choose to do. The ceremony and time in the church highlighted the bond that this family shared.
Once the ceremony concluded, we stayed in the church to take a few formal portraits with the family and bridal party. While leaving the church, a white Hummer was outside waiting to pick up the bridal party to take them over to the reception hall. I can definitely say, they enjoyed riding in style!
As the guests and bridal party made way inside to the cocktail party, Masha and Will stayed outside to take pictures as the sun was setting. We we’re able to use the grounds and different vistas to take some beautiful portraits, and we even were able to catch a beautiful sunset across the field.
It was finally time to start the reception, and for Masha and Will to make their grand entrance as husband and wife. Their grand entrance went straight into their first dance as the family and friends we’re surrounding the dance floor. Masha’s father gave a warm welcome and speech to the guests which was then followed by the Maid of Honor and Best Man speech. The speeches flowed into the Father-Daughter and Mother-Son dances. The flow of this wedding definitely made our jobs easier.
The entire night, the guests had a phenomenal time. They we’re very interactive and enjoyed being able to dance the night away!
It was then time for Masha and Will to cut into their 3-tier cake! This resulted in a small dollop of cake on Masha’s nose. Everyone chuckled and these two shared a sweet kiss to tie out the moment. The night continued with more dancing and celebration!
We ended the night with a wonderful “good night” photograph. It was a pleasure to be a part of their special day! We cannot wait to see what the future holds for these two.
