The DelCollo & Busch-Hodgson Wedding

Busch-Hodgson Wedding - Wedding Photos taken by Dave Zerbe Photography

Weddings are known to be breathtaking days filled with lots of emotions. Some may say that it is as if they are experiencing falling in love again for the very first time. You cycle through the phase of being scared, anxious, happy, or overly excited. I have noticed these cycles to be a trend within each wedding I attend, however, each person carries his or her emotional cycle differently.

For Leah Delcollo and Jason Busch-Hodgson, the emotions in the room were ever changing! Early in the morning, Leah was very nervous, while Jason was excited and ready for the day to start. We began our day with a beautiful ceremony held at St. John Baptist De La Salle. As the wedding vows began the church was completely soundless. It was as if no one else was there besides Leah and Jason. It was a contagious feeling for each guest as the two shared their love with one another.

After the stunning ceremony we photographed some portraits over at the Reading Museum. With little time to spare until their cocktail hour, Leah and Jason worked with us to get exactly what they wanted. It was truly a great working relationship.

Here we have an image that expresses true emotion, something that can sometimes be hard to photograph.

St. John Baptist De La Salle is a beautiful church. It definitely made a wonderful backdrop to the formal photographs.

The day continued with an exciting reception at the Valley Forge Casino Resort. The couple and their guests danced the night away and both Leah and Jason were finally at ease as a married couple. There was not one moment this couple took their eyes off one another. The feeling of happiness was constantly shared between the two and their guests. It was so beautiful to see their love continue to grow as the day went on.

We were very grateful for the opportunity to photograph Leah and Jason’s wedding. Both thanked us thoroughly at the end of the night for the work we did, but it was them who deserved the thanks. When happiness is prevalent at a wedding, it really makes our job simple.

Thank you again Leah and Jason, we look forward to working with you in the future!
