Our early summer has proven to be one of the busiest wedding seasons we’ve had here at Dave Zerbe and we absolutely LOVE it! It is such a joy to have the opportunity to be a part of each couples special day. One of those days in particular we are featuring is the wedding of Terry Grube and Laurie Kercher. Their wedding took place at the beautiful Folino Estate in Kutztown, PA. This was our first time photographing at this beautiful venue and we cannot wait to go back in the future.
Our day began early at the Folino Estate with our groom Terry. We were able to capture some great shots of him before he met with Laurie.
After our time with Terry, we made our way to the bridal suite where Laurie had been getting ready. At this time we took our time to photograph some beautiful images of her in the corridor! It was one of the most perfect backgrounds for her photos.
Finally, it was time for Terry and Laurie to start their day together. Together they chose to do a first look because they knew it would help with the flow of their day. It is always such an honor to be able to witness this moment happening in real time. The beauty of the moment is unexplainable.
Since Laurie loved the corridor so much, we decided to start with formal photos there. After a few beautiful images, we made our way outside and took a walk through the wine fields where we found more fun spots to take photos. It was a blast capturing some of these wonderful moments alongside this lovely couple.
Their ceremony began and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect (especially because rain had been forecasted). Both were lost in each other’s eyes and after a short time, they were married!
We had a great time at their wedding reception listening to their live band, The Uptown Band, and witnessing their first dance as husband and wife. It is not every day you have the opportunity to witness a choreographed waltz! Let us just say Terry and Laurie mastered it. The rest of the night was filled dancing to great music with family and friends.
